Overview
The AI-205M carries the exact same high voltage, overload, dry-run and single-phasing protection as the AI-205, but trades the standard plastic housing for a rugged metal box. That makes it a better fit for outdoor pump houses, farm sheds and other sites where dust, moisture, rodents or physical knocks would shorten the life of a lighter enclosure.
Installers typically choose the AI-205M when the panel will be mounted outside under a simple shed roof, or in locations with heavier dust and humidity than a typical indoor pump room.
