Overview
A Direct-On-Line (DOL) starter connects the motor straight to full line voltage at switch-on — the simplest and most common way to start a three-phase induction motor up to 7.5 HP on a 440V supply. KVP's D.O.L. starter pairs a GK-1 contactor with a GK-1 thermal overload relay: the contactor energises the motor winding and drops out automatically on loss of supply voltage, while the relay trips on sustained overload before it can damage the winding.
Adjustable overload relay bands from 6–10A through 13–22A let one starter body cover a range of motor full-load currents, simplifying stocking and replacement.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)
English: Press the green START button to energise the contactor and run the motor; press the red STOP button to de-energise the contactor and stop it. There's no automatic restart — you must press START again after any stop or trip.
